New Student Orientation Mission Statement
New Student Orientation facilitates a successful college transition by introducing new students and families to Pepperdine's engaging campus community, academic environment, Christian mission, and support resources in a welcoming atmosphere conducive to building new relationships.
A student who participates in New Student Orientation should be able to:
- Cultivate a sense of community
- Make informed decisions about academic choices
- Locate and utilize campus services and resources
- Discover opportunities available outside the classroom
- Understand the nature and importance of Pepperdine's Christian faith and heritage
- Develop a growing love and pride for Pepperdine
- Feel reassured about the decision to attend Pepperdine for his or her college
education.
