New Student Send-Off Parties

Throughout the summer, in hometowns across the nation, we welcome our newest Waves at special New Student, Parent, and Family Send-off Parties and Alumni Gatherings!
What is a Send-Off Party and Alumni Gathering?
These events are designed to warmly welcome newly admitted Seaver College students and their parents and families while also bringing together local Pepperdine alumni and current families. Hosted in cities across the United States, these summer gatherings—running from late May through early August—offer a unique opportunity to connect before the fall semester begins.
These celebrations offer an opportunity for:
- New students, parents, and families to engage with Pepperdine leadership, connect with fellow incoming families, gain insights from alumni, and get their questions answered ahead of arriving on campus this August.
- Alumni to reconnect with one another, engage with University leadership, learn more about Pepperdine’s evolving vision, and inspire the next generation of Waves as they embark on their college journey.
