Social Activities
Testimonials
Getting involved in a wide array of organizations early on in college was a huge part of finding the lifelong friends I have now. From sisterhood through my sorority to finding family in the Latinx Student Alliance, these organizations have made Pepperdine feel like home.

Balancing hard work with community and fun is a major aspect of developing a well-rounded routine in college. Taking a break from rigorous academics and extracurricular responsibilities with social activities helps students avoid burnout when the semester gets busy.
- The Fraternity & Sorority Life (FSL) community includes a diverse array of organizations that promote friendship, philanthropy, and personal growth, with nine sororities and six fraternities. FSL recruitment generally occurs early in the fall (and sometimes spring) semesters. Scholarships are available to cover the cost of dues.
- The Student Programming Board organizes several large-scale events throughout the year for students and families, including an annual film festival (Reel Stories) and the Blue & Orange Madness carnival.
- Sports games are often promoted with free Pepperdine merch and food to draw out crowds from the community. Students are given free entry with their ID for any of the scheduled home games.
- Campus Recreation offers intramural sports throughout the year, as well as informal recreational equipment rentals for student access.
- Inter-Club Council (ICC) offers dozens of organizations in a wide variety of interests that host events regularly. Intercultural Affairs (ICA) oversees identity-based communities for students of all backgrounds.
