Pre-Medical Club
Affiliated with the American Medical Student Association
The pre-medical club which is affiliated with the American Medical Student Association (AMSA) is organized by the pre-med students at Pepperdine University to enable them to learn more about the health care system and the job of physician as well as contribute their time to various causes that benefit individuals and organizations connected to health care. They invite health care professionals and Pepperdine alumni, who are now in or have graduated from medical school, to come and speak to our students. They participate in volunteer activities such as visiting children at the Shriners Hospitals for Children, conducting blood drives on campus, hosting inner city school students at Pepperdine, and participating in other events held on or off campus. They also provide a social outlet for students who are experiencing the challenges of being a pre-med student.
