Chris and Amy Doran Climate Fellowship

The Chris & Amy Doran Climate Fellowship will be awarded to one rising senior who has demonstrated a deep commitment to educating the Seaver community about the effects of anthropogenic climate change on communities and/or ecosystems, either domestically or internationally.

Fellowship recipients will be awarded a $7,500 scholarship in the 2023–2024 academic year to work with a faculty sponsor on an effective and sustainable project that could result in the significant elucidation of the effects of anthropogenic climate change to the Seaver community or a project to mitigate Pepperdine University’s contribution to climate change. Applicants should prepare a thoughtful project proposal including the potential effect of the project within the community, a timeline for completion, and plans for sustaining the project beyond the implementation year, if relevant.
