Fellowships | Pepperdine University | Seaver College

Fellowships

What is Institutional Endorsement?

Some fellowships require Pepperdine to endorse candidates. We take this process seriously and require students to complete an internal application. For fellowships with a final deadline in the Fall, internal applications are due May 1. For fellowships with a final deadline in the Spring, internal applications are due August 1. Contact the fellowships office to request an internal application. This application is reviewed and the student is notified of Pepperdine's decision well in advance of the fellowship's deadline. Some fellowships requiring institutional endorsements are Rhodes, Marshall, and Mitchell.

What is Institutional Involvement?

Some fellowships such as Fulbright and Boren require Pepperdine's involvement. In these cases we are not screening applicants, but are interviewing or certifying students. Please contact the fellowship office for more information on this procedure .
