Myron McClure, a man of faith and a returning Southern California native, has spent over 20 years living and traveling across the U.S., dedicated to fostering inclusive engagement and developing culturally competent and humble leaders for meaningful policy change. Alongside his wife, April, and daughters, Nia and Kaia, Myron continues to embrace opportunities to serve and uplift others through higher education. He holds degrees in agricultural engineering and education from Purdue University and Pennsylvania State University, as well as an international agriculture certificate from the Swedish University in Uppsala, Sweden. His diverse experiences have driven practical change, increasing representation and access for historically underrepresented communities in academia, athletics, and nonprofit spaces. Passionate about creating equitable opportunities, Myron strives to empower individuals and communities to drive the change they wish to see.

Harold Aguayo, a proud San Fernando Valley native, graduated from Pepperdine University in 2020 with a Bachelor’s in Political Science. During his time at Pepperdine, he was actively involved in campus life, serving as a Resident Advisor for Housing and Residence Life (HRL) and as the Underclassman Liaison for the Latinx Student Alliance (LSA). Harold is deeply committed to equity, justice, and amplifying the voices of marginalized communities. This passion has guided him to his current role as Assistant Director for Training and Programming at ICA, where he works to foster a greater understanding of inclusion and belonging through training and multicultural events.

Sharon Wakio is an alum of the Graduate School of Education and Psychology here at Pepperdine with her master's in psychology. She came to the United States from Kenya as an international student to pursue higher education in 2006, where she began her educational journey at Boise State University. Sharon has worked as a case manager in the mental health field and is a nationally certified anger management counselor. She has also served in various roles within Student Affairs to support and advocate for international students, and those experiences have led her to her current role as the assistant director for international student engagement. As a cultural broker, Sharon hosts social and practical programming to build bridges, curate a sense of belonging, and support international students at Pepperdine.

Nathaniel Ilo is a New York native and higher education professional dedicated to expanding access, fostering belonging, and advancing student success. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and an Associate Degree in Psychology for Transfer from Norco College. He is currently pursuing a Master of Education at the University of Southern California with a focus on educational counseling.

Before joining Pepperdine, Nathaniel served as an Admissions Counselor for Community Engagement at UC Santa Barbara, where he led outreach initiatives, developed transfer and pathway programs, and supported students from historically underrepresented communities through the college access process. His work emphasizes building meaningful relationships, cultivating inclusive environments, and creating programs that strengthen student identity, leadership, and retention.

As Program Manager for Intercultural Affairs, Nathaniel advances initiatives that promote cultural engagement, holistic student development, and a stronger sense of belonging across campus.
