Intercultural Affairs
At Pepperdine and especially within the Office of Intercultural Affairs, we believe our Christian heritage calls us to create a community rooted in love, mutual respect, and a deep commitment to one another’s flourishing. As Scripture reminds us: “Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves” (Romans 12:10).
This charge guides our work as we strive to build a campus culture where every student, staff, and faculty member is seen, valued, and empowered to thrive.
Being devoted in love means embracing each individual’s identity and story as a reflection of God’s creativity.
Honoring one another calls us to listen with humility, uplift each other’s gifts, and act with empathy
and respect—even when perspectives differ. At the heart of it all is a belief that
diversity is not just something to be included, but something to be celebrated as
essential to who we are and who we are becoming.
