Economics Reading Group
Started in the Spring of 2018, the Economics Reading Group is Socratic style discussion group in the PPE (philosophy, politics, and economics) tradition. Group members, made up of economics, philosophy, and politics students select a book to read throughout the semester and lead the discussion each week. Students discuss societal values, political institutions, economic systems, and how they relate to one another. The purpose of this group is to build further understanding of pressing societal issues and camaraderie through challenging, fun, and academic discussion. The reading group takes place each spring semester and is run by the Economics Department.
Applications are due early January.
