Music Programs at Pepperdine

A music major covers many different areas of study.  The music student is offered specialization in applied music (performance), music education, music history/literature, and theory-composition.  Students are given the opportunity to showcase their talents in many different ensembles, including String Ensemble, Brass Ensemble, Jazz Ensemble, Woodwind Ensemble, Percussion Ensemble, Guitar Ensemble, Pepperdine University Orchestra, Piano Accompanying, Piano Chamber Music, Collegium Musicum Novum, and Pepperdine University major choral ensembles.  With nationally accomplished professors and guest master class teachers, the major is truly an outstanding example of music education.
