As a transfer student it can be a bit intimidating entering a new learning and living environment. But soon after transferring to Pepperdine that feeling went away as I found that being a transfer student at Pepperdine you are automatically part of a community students, faculty, and staff who want to help you succeed in and out of the classroom. Pepperdine offers a variety of opportunities for students to get involved in such as Step Forward Day, holiday inspired events, Reel Stories Film Festival, greek life, business fraternities, intramural sports, clubs, study abroad programs, and more. However you choose to get involved or how many things you choose to be involved in, it all begins with your willingness to put yourself out there to new experiences."
Getting involved on campus through student employment, intramural sports, and volunteer activities has led Alexis to find her community as a transfer student at Pepperdine.
