Federal Direct Loan Exit Counseling Information
Federal Regulations require all students to complete Federal Direct Loan Exit Loan Counseling Sessions when they graduate, withdraw or drop below half-time status. Failure to complete Exit Loan Counseling Sessions will result in a hold being placed on your academic transcripts.
April graduates - Your personalized Loan Exit Counseling packet will be available for you to pick up in the Office of Financial Assistance in mid-April. Exit Counseling needs to be completed online. After you complete your online Exit Counseling sessions, it is highly recommended to schedule an appointment with your Financial Assistance Loan Advisor to go over your loan servicer information. You can call the Office of Financial Assistance at (310) 506-4301 to schedule an appointment or e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
A separate counseling session must be completed online for each type of Federal or Institutional loan borrowed.
