28th Annual Pepperdine Wave Classic

The Pepperdine Wave Classic Golf Tournament began as a collaboration between the Seaver College Board of Visitors and the Seaver Parents Council. The event began as a fundraiser for scholarships, career development program resources, and support for the men’s and women’s Waves golf teams. Taking place at the Sherwood Country Club in Thousand Oaks for more than a decade, the Wave Classic transitioned to the iconic Riviera Country Club, home of the Genesis Invitational, in 2015. Through the years, this signature fundraiser has grown to include golf and tennis activities and now supports programs and resources for Seaver College students and all Pepperdine Waves Athletic teams.

Pepperdine Wave Classic 2025

On October 20, 2025, Pepperdine supporters gathered to tee off and serve for a great cause. Our golf tournament was held at the Riviera Country Club's pristine George Thomas-designed course, the site of the annual PGA Tour's Genesis Invitational. Our afternoon tennis event included liveball, an exhibition match, and a clinic with Pepperdine tennis players and coaches. 2025 marked the most successful Waves Classic to date, and we hope that with your participation, 2026 will generate even greater support for our Waves!

2025 Highlights

On October 20, 2025, Pepperdine hosted 140 golfers, and 30 tennis players to tee off and serve for a great cause. An additional 50 guests joined the players for the reception and dinner. It was a truly memorable and historic day for our Waves!
