Friends of Music
Friends of Music supports the Pepperdine University Fine Arts Division by allowing our students and faculty an opportunity to achieve their dreams in the classroom, on the stage, and around the world.
Becoming a member of Friends of Music will enhance, impact, and equip our students with the tools necessary for their development as young musicians. As you share in this journey, you will witness our students' remarkable stories and personal achievements.
Enhancing the Learning Experience
Students are the heart of our program, as they actively participate in their own aesthetic growth and creative endeavors. Friends of Music support an array of opportunities enriching these experiences such as offering scholarships, funding guest artists, and providing master classes.
Impacting the Global Community
Studying abroad is the paramount student experience at Pepperdine. Our student musicians will study the rich culture and history of the arts in Europe. Since 2000, the Heidelberg Summer Music Program takes students on incredible field excursions while performing in local venues; and the Pepperdine Chamber Singers participate in the prestigious Prague Proms International Music Festival, joining other outstanding choirs from around the globe to perform major choral/orchestral works.
Equipping the Talented
Acquiring and maintaining premier instruments and becoming an All-Steinway School will provide students and faculty access to excellent equipment to match the academic rigor taught in the music halls of Pepperdine.
