More Opportunities for Support than Ever Before

Associates often choose to make an unrestricted gift directly to the Seaver Associates program, which supports the most immediate and essential goals of the college – faculty recruitment and research, annual operating costs, and especially student scholarships.

However, you may choose to direct your support to a specific program or department in the College.

 The Associates Program

A Living Endowment

Seaver Associates serve the university by supporting ongoing programs and activities through annual gifts. Their dedication and support are essential to all that Seaver College is today and will be tomorrow.

Associates help strengthen academic programs, enhance library and technology services, attract distinguished faculty, make international study programs possible, fund student organizations, and, most importantly, provide financial aid to students.

Students are the principal beneficiaries. Approximately 75% of Pepperdine students receive some form of financial aid and full tuition pays only two-thirds of the cost of their Pepperdine education.

Members of the Pepperdine Associates help prepare our students for service to society and the challenges of the future.

 The Benefits of Membership

The Pepperdine Associates program fosters deep connections to a university that is a positive force in the world. The rewards of being an Associate go far beyond the satisfaction of assisting students in their educational endeavors.

As an Associate, you become a partner to faculty and administration, alumni and friends, and, most of all, students. You gain access to formal and informal programs, to camaraderie and service in pursuit of the values championed by the university.

  • As a Pepperdine Associate, you receive invitations and special seating (where available) to university events such as faculty and guest-speaker lectures and student presentations.
  • You secure your invitation to the annual black-tie dinner, the highlight of the Associates' annual calendar. Renowned speakers and talented student entertainers typically fill the program of this elegant evening.
  • You are kept informed of all significant Pepperdine news and events through updates from the university, exclusive communications from the President, the Annual Report, and your copy of the new Pepperdine Magazine.
  • You also benefit from a personal relationship with a designated Associates staff member – a friend at the university to contact with all of your Pepperdine-related questions and concerns.
  • As a valued Associate you are thanked and recognized with a personalized plaque and an inscription of your name on the commemorative wall at Thornton Administrative Center on the Malibu campus.
