Seaver College to Host Virtual Research and Scholarly Achievement Symposium

On Friday, April 23, 2021, the Seaver College Research and Scholarly Achievement Symposium will return for an afternoon to celebrate undergraduate achievements in research and scholarship throughout the academic year. The virtual event will feature oral and/or poster presentations, an art exhibition panel, and musical performances. 

Sponsored by the Office of the Vice Provost, the virtual event will begin at 1:30 PM PDT with opening remarks, before breaking off into concurrent student presentations and performances. Additionally, there will be a chance for students to network with guests, faculty mentors, and fellow students at the close of the event.

University faculty, staff, administrators, and students alike eagerly anticipate the energetic symposium each year. This year’s event is the first since COVID-19 required cancelations of the 2020 symposium, and it falls at the end of Undergraduate Research Week, a national celebration of students’ achievements and their mentors.
