Graduation Day Planning
If you are unable to attend the commencement ceremony but wish to have your name read during the commencement ceremony, please submit your information no later than Friday, April 5. Graduates do not need to attend to have their degree conferred. Diplomas will be mailed to you at the diploma address on file approximately 90 days after you graduate. Make sure you have a valid mailing address recorded with OneStop to ensure you receive your diploma.
The Seaver College commencement ceremony will be broadcast online, live, and on-demand for future viewing. The livestream will begin 15 minutes prior to the start of the commencement ceremony and can be viewed on the commencement website.
On-campus parking is available at locations marked on the attached map, on campus streets, and at the Drescher Graduate Campus on Via Pacifica. Shuttles will be in service, available at any marked campus shuttle stop. Special parking arrangements have been made for guests with special accessibility needs at convenient locations. For more information, contact the Department of Public Safety at the information booths or call 310.506.4700.
In the event of rain, commencement will be moved to Firestone Fieldhouse. All graduates will take their seats prior to the start of the ceremony. Due to extremely limited indoor seating, tickets will be required for admission. Each graduate will receive two guest tickets for entrance to Firestone Fieldhouse. Graduates' additional guests are strongly encouraged to view the ceremony via livestream from the convenience and comfort of their preferred off-campus location.
Pepperdine University cordially invites you to Seaver College's Loqui: A Celebration of Diversity and Inclusive Excellence. This event honors our graduates' accomplishments and the rich diversity they bring to the educational experience. For more information and to register for this event, please visit the Pepperdine Student Affairs website.
Baccalaureate will take place in the evening on Friday, April 28, 2023. Additional details, including time and location, will be announced during the spring semester.
Graduates will be photographed as they receive their diplomas during the commencement ceremony by GradImages (gradimages.com). In the past, GradImages has been able to deliver proofs by email within 24 hours to graduates who indicate an email address on cards. Please use this photography service and remain seated during the ceremony.
Friends and family have the opportunity to purchase flowers for their graduates on the day of commencement or reserve them ahead of time. Please visit the commencement group website to pre-order and pickup at graduation.
