Melissa Jolley

Melissa Jolley is a mixed media artist, illustrator, and avid doodler. She holds a degree in Communications from Pepperdine University and has worked in film and entertainment marketing for the last 17 years. Her travels abroad during her time at Pepperdine, studying in Florence, had a big impact on her artistic endeavors - stoked by her art history class and museum visits. Creative expression has been her life-long venture – whether painting, illustrating, ceramics, calligraphy or custom letter work.

Melissa has a passion for ink and paper, most recently working with black paper and metallic inks. Her signature detailed line work has also lent itself to commissioned tattoos. As a Los Angeles native, she also finds inspiration and joy in celebrating the cultures, customs, and fashions of such a wonderfully diverse city.
