
Priscilla Yau
Biography
Priscilla Yau earned her PhD in psychological science at the University of California, Irvine. During the final year of her graduate program, she was an adjunct professor at Azusa Pacific University and taught sports psychology and educational psychology. Priscilla's research interests and published papers focused on contributing factors to adolescents' academic motivation such as parenting, goal-setting, and implicit motives. She aims to continue her research on high-school education and develop her research findings and ideas from her dissertation, which examined transfer of motivational skills learned in extracurricular activities to academics. Priscilla is excited to have the unique opportunity to guide students in deepening their relationship with God while receiving high-quality education.
