
Michael Burton
Biography
Michael Burton earned his Ph.D. from Yale University in 2022. His dissertation further develops a proposed unification of various logical paradoxes and introduces a new kind of nonclassical logic to handle them. After earning his doctorate, he enjoyed teaching courses on puzzles, logic, and the philosophy of mathematics at Yale as a lecturer, and courses on math, physics, and Latin as a teacher at a classical high school. He received his Bachelor's degree in Philosophy and Economics from Seaver College in 2017 as a Seaver Scholar. He was a member of the tenth cohort of the Lilly Graduate Fellows Program.
