Biography

Marine Aykazyan received her C.Phil degree in French and Francophone Studies from UCLA. She also holds B.A. degrees in French and English. She specializes in medieval literature. Her interests include Mediterranean Studies, crusade historiography, and medieval rhetoric and epistemology. Her research focuses on Franco-Armenian relations in the medieval Mediterranean during the crusades of the eleventh to the fourteenth century. She works with texts across different disciplines, genres, and languages, including Old French, Latin, and Classical Armenian.
