Anna Penner

Biography

Anna Penner is an assistant professor of sociology at Pepperdine University. Before joining the faculty at Pepperdine, she received her PhD in the department of sociology at the University of California, Irvine. Her work focuses on life course consequences of having a disabled family member. She is particularly interested in how having a disabled sibling impacts non-disabled children and young adults behaviorally, educationally, and in the labor force.
