Angela C. E. Mensah
Biography
Starting from humble beginnings, Angela Cindy Emefa Mensah received her bachelor’s degree in social science education (Economics and Mathematics major) from the University of Cape Coast and a Master of Philosophy in Economics from the University of Ghana. She worked as a research assistant at United Nations University’s World Institute for Development Economics Research (UNU-WIDER) office at the University of Ghana. She also worked briefly as a lecturer for Semester at Sea before pursuing her PhD in Economics at Colorado State University. While studying for her PhD, she worked as a consultant and produced a paper for the 2022 World Inequality Series for the UNU-WIDER Development Conference in Bogotá, Colombia.
