Alumni Movie Screening: Disney/PIXAR's COCO

Registration is closed. Due to Disney's strict regulations, we cannot accept any additional guests.

We are partnering with Disney to create a magical experience! You will receive an official "COCO Recipe Card" in the mail before the event, it is our hope that you will share a favorite family recipe and leave with another Pepperdine family member's favorite family recipe.

Gather your family to join your Pepperdine family for an exclusive pre-release screening of Disney/PIXAR's COCO, including Disney's holiday featurette OLAF'S FROZEN ADVENTURE! Your Seaver Alumni Relations office is excited to celebrate multi-generational families and will host a reception at Petros Century City from 5:00PM-6:45PM prior to showtime!

Movie check-in deadline is 7:00PM in the theater lobby. The movie will kick off around 7:30 PM to an invitation-only crowd, mostly exclusive to Pepperdine and invited media.


  • Event cost is $10 per person (all ages)
  • Each registration must include at least one Pepperdine alumnus
  • Limit of seven (7) guests per registration group; max party size of eight (8). In households with multiple alumni, the total household registration group may not exceed eight (8). If you have a group larger than eight, please contact our office at 310.506.4348.

COCO Summary:

Despite his family's generations-old ban on music, young Miguel (Anthony Gonzalez) dreams of becoming an accomplished musician like his idol Ernesto de la Cruz (Benjamin Bratt). Desparate to prove his talent, Miguel finds himself in the stunning and colorful Land of the Dead. After meeting a charming trickster named Hector (Gael García Bernal), the two new friends embark on an extraordinary journey to unlock the real story behind Miguel's family history.



No refunds will be given after November 13, 2017 for any circumstances due to Pepperdine having to commit reception food costs with the restaurant by November 13, 2017.
