Join us for the Pepperdine Wave Classic at The Riviera Country Club. We are excited
to offer golf and tennis once again this year! Our golf tournament will be held at
the Riviera's pristine George Thomas-designed course, the site of the annual PGA Tour's
Genesis Invitational. Our afternoon tennis event will include live ball, an exhibition
match, and a clinic with Pepperdine tennis players and coaches.
The Pepperdine Wave Classic Golf Tournament began as a collaboration between the Seaver College Board of Visitors and the Seaver Parents Council. The event began as a fundraiser for scholarships, career development program resources, and support for the men’s and women’s Waves golf teams. Taking place at the Sherwood Country Club in Thousand Oaks for more than a decade, the Wave Classic transitioned to the iconic Riviera Country Club, home of the Genesis Invitational, in 2015. Through the years, this signature fundraiser has grown to include golf and tennis activities and now supports programs and resources for Seaver College students and all Pepperdine Waves Athletic teams.
