Danielle Wagner
Biography
Professor Wagner has a MA in Spanish with a focus on Peninsular Literature and Romance Linguistics from California State University, Long Beach. She has a BA in French literature from the University of California, Irvine. She has a Certificate in Teaching English To Speakers of Other Languages from the University of Cambridge, UK. She holds a Paralegal Certificate from U.C. Irvine. She also has a A.A. in Film, having studied screenwriting at El Camino and Santa Monica Colleges. She played two years on the El Camino College tennis team, which won a South Coast Conference. Professionally, she started her career in a global law firm as a paralegal. She later taught English and composition to speakers of other languages and was a director of academics for international education programs. She loves working at Pepperdine and teaching composition. She hopes to teach French and/or Spanish in a future summer, as well as be part of the summer study abroad programs due to her love of foreign languages and travel.
