Global Tides Academic Journal Publishes 2020 Volume

Pepperdine University’s student-led academic journal Global Tides publishes Volume 14 as spring 2020 comes to an end. The journal features interdisciplinary undergraduate research from the humanities, religion, social science, and international studies.

In fall 2020, the student editorial boards—led by Brittany Bryant, Makenzie Daggett, Luke Whartnaby, and Shanelle Wilkins—began planning their rigorous peer-review processes and executing their marketing strategies to promote submissions.

“This year, I think we were most excited about the increase in student submissions which resulted in a diverse pool of research,” shares Whartnaby.
