Seaver College Celebrates Global Citizenry with Eighth Annual Global Learning Week

In a celebration of global citizenry and promotion of cross-cultural understanding, International Programs and their partners––the Office of International Student Services, Student Affairs, Model UN, and the Board––will present the eighth annual Global Learning Week from January 24 to January 28, 2022. This event is an opportunity to learn from community members, both local and global, and advance toward a more united, equitable world.

The International Programs Office will host various events, including international trivia, an Instagram photo contest, and a “Share your Adventure” video booth. They will also offer two opportunities to write and send letters to those students currently studying abroad. On Tuesday, January 25, there will be an opportunity to learn about different music genres from around the world at “Music of the World” in Joslyn Plaza, and on Wednesday, January 26, Model UN will host a current event panel.

Additionally, current Seaver students can enter a raffle to win prizes by attending certain events. The top three winners will receive a $500 International Programs scholarship.
