
Biography
Dr. Lauren Dodds is an art historian of Italian Renaissance art and material culture and its afterlives. She specializes in the history of collecting. Dr. Dodds earned her Ph.D. in art history from the University of Southern California (2019) and her master’s degree, also in art history, from Southern Methodist University (2011). In addition to prior teaching experience, Dr. Dodds previously worked at the Getty Research Institute and the National Gallery of Art. She currently works with the USC-Huntington Early Modern Studies Institute to support advanced research in the humanities.
