Dr. Novell received her PhD from the University of Florida. She currently teaches principles of marketing. In her research, Dr. Novell examines how people navigate information environments both online and in physical settings. She specifically identifies factors that influence people's receptivity to available information (e.g., feedback), and the effects of varying receptivity. She also examines the effects of fixed versus growth mindsets in performance and consumer contexts.
