Seaver Undergraduate Research in Biology

Application

Interested students must complete an application form either via this web site or may request an application form in writing; by FAX (310-506-4785); by email (jay.brewster@pepperdine.edu); or by telephone (310-506-4321). Students are expected to have completed one year of biology prior to the summer program and must be classified as undergraduate students (NSF requirement). Applications are due 15 February 2010. Notification of acceptance will by made by April 1, 2010. Students are selected on the basis of their reasons for wanting to do research, academic credentials, and teacher recommendations. Students selected for the research program receive a stipend  for the summer months (May 16-August 1). All students must be free from other responsibilities by May 16 so they can participate in the research orientation workshop. On-campus room and board are provided.
