Practical Stops

The following are some of the more practical stops that your student will appreciate during a stay in Malibu.

Barnes and Noble - The popular book and music store.  Barnes and Noble is 15 miles away in the Calabasas Commons.  Take Malibu Canyon to the 101S, exit to the left on Parkway Calabasas, the Commons will be on the right.

Costco - A wholesale and bulk food store.  Costco is 15 miles away from campus in Agoura Hills.  Take Malibu Canyon to the 101N, exit Lindero Canyon to the right, and Costco will be on the right.

Kaiser Permanente - 5601 De Soto Ave., Woodland Hills

Kinko's - The popular copy, binding, and printing center open 24 hours.  Kinko's is 13 miles away from campus in Agoura Hills.  Take Malibu Canyon to the 101N, exit Kanan to the left, and Kinko's will be on the other side of the 101.

Ralph's Grocery Store - The closest grocery store to campus.  Ralphs is just south of campus on the right side of Pacific Coast Highway in the Malibu Colony Plaza.

Pacific Coast Greens -  An alternate grocery store. Offerings are similar to Whole Foods or Wild Oats.  22601 PCH  (310) 456-0353

Santa Monica Medical Center - 1250 16th St., Santa Monica  (310) 319-4000

Santa Monica Shopping Mall - The Santa Monica indoor shopping mall with both department and specialty stores.  The Santa Monica Shopping Mall is 14 miles away from campus at the end of the 3rd Street Promenade in Santa Monica.  Take Pacific Coast Highway South to the California Incline, turn right onto Ocean, and then take a left onto Santa Monica Blvd. 

CVS Pharmacy- The closest drug store to campus.  CVS is just south of campus on the right side of Pacific Coast Highway in the Malibu Colony Plaza.

Target - The popular all-purpose discount store.  Target is 17 miles away from campus.  Take Malibu Canyon to the 101S, exit to the right on DeSoto, and take a right, turn left onto Ventura and Target will be on the left.   

The Oaks - Thousand Oaks Shopping Mall - The Thousand Oaks indoor shopping mall with both department and specialty stores.  The Oaks Shopping Mall is 24 miles away from campus.  Take Malibu Canyon to the 101N, exit Lynn Road to the right, and the Oaks will be on the right.

Topanga Shopping Mall - The Topanga indoor shopping mall with both department and specialty stores.  The Topanga Shopping Mall is 17 miles away from campus.  Take Malibu Canyon to the 101S, exit on Topanga Canyon and go south on Ventura Blvd., take a left onto Topanga Canyon and the stores will be on the right.
