Academic Regalia

Caps and Gowns

You may pick up a cap and gown on Friday, April 30, 2010, from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. in the Firestone Fieldhouse lobby. If you are unable to come at this time, you may arrange for a friend to pick up your cap and gown for you. Your friend will need to know your cap size, height, and degree, and will need to bring your
Pepperdine photo identification card. Please wear appropriate attire for the commencement ceremony. At the end of the ceremony, return your caps and gowns at the check-in station located in Alumni Park.

Honor Cords

If you graduate with honors, you will receive your honor cords when you check in on Saturday morning. These honor cords are the only items that may be worn on your regalia. Cum laude honors recognize those who achieve a 3.5 grade point average in their entire undergraduate career. Magna cum laude honors recognize those who achieve a 3.7 grade point average. Summa cum laude honors recognize those who achieve a 3.9 grade point average.
