Social Science Division
Seaver College's Social Science Division prepares students to explore and examine humans and their social, psychological, and political relations and institutions. Each of our separate disciplines--economics, political science, psychology, social work, and sociology--offers its own unique perspective. By bringing together the theory and research from these respective disciplines, students achieve a more comprehensive, complex, and integrated view of humanity.
Undergraduate Majors and Minors
Our Social Science Division encourages students to pursue inquiry and research about humans, their social relations, politics, and institutions. Our small class size allows faculty to concentrate on students more individually, while personalizing learning.
Student Opportunities
Student organizations, internships, honor societies, and international study abroad programs enhance student learning at Seaver College. Through hands-on, experiential learning, our students gain valuable skills that prepare them for their careers or graduate work.
