American Studies Program Learning Outcomes
A successful graduate of the American Studies Master's program will be able to:
- Demonstrate advanced critical thinking in the context of the American experiences
while deploying the methodologies of the disciplines represented in American Studies.
- Identify major social, political, and religious movements in American culture.
- Demonstrate competence in information literacy in an interdisciplinary context and
complete graduate-level research.
- Demonstrate the ability to integrate various discipline-specific methodologies in
the context of American cultural themes.
