Public Relations Major

The Public Relations degree program at Seaver College teaches students to write, plan, and build relationships between organizations and the public. Public Relations continues to grow as a field and offers numerous job opportunities, from event planning and strategic writing to digital/social media. Whether you are interested in advising a client on how to best communicate with various publics, executing a communications campaign for a brand, or you want to promote your favorite celebrity, the Public Relations major will prepare you to do your job well.

Internships for Communication Majors

Communication internship programs provide opportunities for students studying journalism, organizational communication, public relations, and telecommunication to work in a professional capacity with newspapers, radio and television stations, and advertising and public relations agencies. Students gain field experience at the same time as, and as a part of, their academic training.
