Pepperdine is an independent, private university located on 830 acres in the Santa Monica Mountains overlooking the Pacific Ocean in Malibu, California. The University is recognized nationally for its excellent academic programs and enrolls approximately 8,000 full-time and part-time students in its five colleges and schools. Seaver College, the University's undergraduate college of letters, arts, and sciences, enrolls approximately 3,000 students who reflect the highest standards of academic excellence and personal conduct.

Pepperdine's Summer College for High School gives students the opportunity to experience the academic challenge and social interaction of university life. Students enroll in undergraduate courses, receive college credit, live in undergraduate residences, and interact with Seaver College faculty and students. The program emphasizes college preparation, through enrichment curriculum, guest lectures from admission counselors, and assistance with college applications and essays.
Move beyond reading college brochures and surfing their websites, start living the university life at Pepperdine. Pepperdine's Summer College students have the opportunity to challenge themselves, to explore new opportunities and to experience university living. Find out what college life is really like.
Summer College is more than classrooms and laboratories. The Student Activities Center and the Student Government Association make the Seaver campus a lively and engaging place to be. Additionally, each week Summer College students participate in area field trips with potential sites including J. Paul Getty Museum, the Museum of Tolerance, Santa Monica Pier, or Six Flags Magic Mountain. In support of Pepperdine's long tradition of service and volunteerism, students will participate in one service project. Possible service sites include Food Share, Share our Strength or Heal the Bay.
One primary goal of the Summer College program is for students to learn the skills necessary to succeed in the college environment. To that end Pepperdine has developed "High School to 101: The Road to College Success," an enrichment workshop designed to demystify the college admission process. Topics covered include researching universities, application preparation, essay writing, and transitioning to college.
