Activities

Summer College is more than classrooms and laboratories. The Student Activities Center and the Student Government Association make the Seaver campus a lively and engaging place to be. Additionally, each week Summer College students participate in area field trips with potential sites including J. Paul Getty Museum, the Museum of Tolerance, Santa Monica Pier, or Six Flags Magic Mountain. In support of Pepperdine's long tradition of service and volunteerism, students will participate in one service project. Possible service sites include Food Share, Share our Strength or Heal the Bay.

Enrichment Workshop

One primary goal of the Summer College program is for students to learn the skills necessary to succeed in the college environment. To that end Pepperdine has developed "High School to 101: The Road to College Success," an enrichment workshop designed to demystify the college admission process. Topics covered include researching universities, application preparation, essay writing, and transitioning to college.
