Summer School

For Parents

The transition to college is a big adjustment for both students and parents. The Summer College program offers a unique opportunity to "practice" this transition in a safe and encouraging environment. To this end, Pepperdine's Summer College program seeks to mirror the college environment in as many ways as possible. Students follow the same code of conduct required of Seaver College undergraduate students, with a couple of exceptions. High School students are not allowed to bring cars and have a 1am curfew. We recognize that this may be a new experience for some students, which is why Resident Advisors receive extra training to work in this program. Their role is to create a supportive environment in which students are encouraged to make good decisions.
