At the start of the semester, new students and parents will be attending the New Student Orientation. During this time, each student will be able to meet with an Information Technology staff member for a laptop TechCheck.
The TechCheck is a three-step process to ensure that your laptop is ready to connect to the Pepperdine network. TechChecks will be available only on certain days during New Student Orientation. Please check the NSO schedule for the exact location, time, and dates.
Prior to arriving for a TechCheck, you should stop by the Computer Store to pick up any software or hardware ordered earlier in the summer. Information Technology also recommends that you pick up a copy of Microsoft Office and a laptop security cable while you are at the Computer Store if you do not already own these items.
