Spiritual Activities
The Student
Activities Center works with students to plan worship programs,
contemporary Christian concerts, volunteer activities, and other
events that allow all our students to participate in and contribute
to the spiritual life of Pepperdine. The
Student Ministries Office assists students who would like to
start a student-led ministry on campus. In addition, each residence
hall has a
spiritual life advisor, a fellow student who is dedicated to
responding to spiritual needs, whether it’s helping a student get
involved, praying together, or just being a good listener.
Students are strongly encouraged to become active in a local
church. Worship services are held on campus each Sunday morning and
evening and on Wednesday night at the
University Church of Christ. The church sponsors a
Campus
Ministry with offices in the Tyler Campus Center. There are also
several churches in our area that have active student programs that
plan Bible studies, spiritual retreats, and opportunities for worship
and fellowship, and that have campus ministers available to provide
spiritual guidance for Pepperdine students. |
