Internship & Graduate School Fair

Over 50 internship providers and graduate school representatives will gather by the fountain to network with students.  Internships in fall, spring, and summer will be offered from organizations in various industries.  Graduate schools will represent institutions from across the country in a wide variety of disciplines.  All students are encouraged to stop by and ask questions, collect materials, and make connections. Click here for more info.

Career Fair

The Career Fair features companies and organizations offering employment and internship opportunities. This is a great time for freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors to ask questions and collect literature from employers they may want to work for in the future, as well as learn about organizations and opportunities they may have never before considered. Graduating seniors, those currently seeking employment and those seeking internships should bring resumes.

Mock Interview Day

Our new Mock Interview Day is designed to prepare all students for those all-important job and internship interviews.  We enlist business professionals to conduct interviews and give constructive feedback.  Just in time for On Campus Interview Season, this event is held in the end of September.

Workshops

The Career Center offers a variety of workshops each year. Workshops are held daily during the fall and spring semesters. Workshops offer career exploration opportunities as well as present concepts that can help students learn to effectively package and market themselves to employers. Topics include: Internships, How to Choose a Major, Grad School, Resume Building, Interviewing Skills and Job Search Skills.

Etiquette Dinner

Ever tasted Vichyssoise? Ever dined on Roast Long Island Duck? Do you know the fine art of business or formal dining? The Etiquette Dinner, held each fall and spring, provides a fine meal and a learning situation so you will never again be embarrassed in a formal or business setting.

Round Tables

Career exploration Round Tables are offered during the fall and spring semesters. These programs provide opportunities to gather insight and advice from successful people in field(s) you want to enter as well as those you had never before considered. Please stop by or call the Career Center for more information on dates, speakers and topics.
