Planning for Graduate School
 

Explore Career and Graduate School Options

a. Meet with a Career Counselor to talk about your interests and the graduate or professional school process
b. Determine the credentials needed to prepare for your career
c. Consider your reasons and motivations for continuing your education
d. Explore graduate or professional schools for the program/degree you are interested in
e. Research possible fellowship or scholarship opportunities
 
 

Gather Information about specific programs

a. Review the department website and gather information about the schools you are interested in applying to
b. Pay particular attention to the program goals, faculty research focus and the unique opportunities available
c. Talk with current graduate students or faculty members
d. Discuss programs with your academic advisor and professors

c. Ask for your letters of recommendation
