Senior Class Challenge

Welcome Class of 2008!

"There are certain things that are fundamental to human fulfillment. The essence of these needs is captured in the phrase 'to live, to love, to learn, to leave a legacy'." -- Stephen Covey

Senior Challenge was established in 1989, as an opportunity for graduating Seaver students to leave a legacy by giving something back to Pepperdine University.  You, the Class of 2008 are part of an 19-year tradition!

When the tradition began in 1989, the Senior Class President sent a letter to the class requesting their participation.  Then, in 1992, a team of Seaver seniors was created with the goal of raising money for student scholarships. The focus of this group changed a bit in 1995, when they decided to have the class determine the senior class gift.  Today, the Senior Challenge tradition continues for each graduating class, giving each senior a chance, to leave a legacy for the future Pepperdine community.

This year's challenge, Seaver Dean David Baird has challenged the Class of 2008 to have 30% participation from their class.  He will match $.50 on the dollar, of all gifts raised, if the class meets this challenge.

Don't delay, "Rock the Dollar"
