Philosophy Program Learning Outcomes

A student who graduates with a major in Philosophy should be able to:

• Clearly communicate both orally and in writing.
• Think critically.
• Exhibit knowledge of the history of philosophy.
• Exhibit knowledge of ethical theory and of how it applies to various situations.
• Produce a paper informed by relevant philosophical research.
