Welcome to NSO

What is New Student Orientation?

New Student Orientation (NSO) is a program intentionally designed for incoming students and their parents. The program will include information on academics, student activities, student services, living on campus, international programs, and much more. University administrators, faculty, staff, and upper-division students will be available throughout the program to answer all of your questions about college life. NSO begins Monday, August 19, 2013 for international students and Tuesday, August 20, 2013 for domestic students. NSO ends for parents on Thursday, August 22, 3 p.m. Classes begin Monday, August 26.  All new students are required to attend New Student Orientation.

Who Attends New Student Orientation?

NSO is designed for new students who intend to enroll at Seaver College and their parents. A majority of the students attending NSO will be accompanied by one or more parents; however, there will be several students attending without parents. In addition, there will be faculty members and selected upper-division students present to assist with academic advising and answer any questions.

International Students
NSO begins Monday, August 19. Check-in is 8:30 a.m. - Noon in the Lovernich Commons adjacent to the RHO Parking lot.

Domestic Students
NSO begins Tuesday, August 20.  Check in is in the Lovernich Commons adjacent to the RHO parking lot.  Your specific check in time will be mailed to you this summer.

Location

NSO will take place on the Seaver College Malibu campus.
