Cellular Phones

Students wishing to use cellular phones on the Malibu campus will find that AT&T™ and Verizon™ enjoy the best cell coverage. Cell phone representatives will be on campus during the New Student Orientation in August with the latest phones and subscription plans for students.

Information Technology provides a cell phone coverage update  for the Malibu Campus.

Cell phones that also provide Wi-Fi access will need to follow the login instructions for Pepperdine's wireless network before using most Wi-Fi applications on the phone.

Residence Hall Phones

Pepperdine University provides each residence room with a single telephone line. Long distance calls can be handled by using a calling card, or by direct billing to the student's account using a Personal Billing Number (PBN). Students are required to bring their own corded analog telephone. Cordless, video, and voice-over-IP phones are strongly discouraged because they often cause interference problems in the campus residences.

Additional phone lines and voicemail are available for a monthly fee and may be requested at Telephone Services Request form.
