Student Laptop Computers

Seaver College strongly encourages all students to own and use a laptop computer and students pursuing a Business Administration degree are required to own and use a laptop. Recommended computer specifications are available.

Tech Central

Pepperdine operates its own online computer store, which provides Pepperdine students with academic discounts on Dell and Apple computers, software, printers, peripherals and hardware accessories. Students may purchase Microsoft Office for only $49.99! Detailed pricing information is accessible from the Computer Store Web site .

Cyber Cafés and Computer Labs

Students can use any of the computer labs located throughout campus, including Payson Library, Sandbar Café, Wavelength Café, and Seaver College division-specific labs.

Computer and Internet Usage

Students may access the Internet using either wired or wireless connections, depending on the campus location; students do not need a separate Internet Service Provider. Pepperdine requires anti-virus software on all student computers. We also provide a spam filter that identifies and blocks spam messages to Pepperdine email accounts. To ensure a safe, effective and efficient technology environment using these shared network resources, all students are required to abide by Pepperdine's Computer and Network Responsible Usage Policy .
