The Student Affiliates of the American Chemical Society is a club that aims to enable students to successfully pursue an interest in chemistry and enjoy doing it. Having mixers at Malibu Yo, making Dippin' Dots ice cream with liquid nitrogen, and giving presentations about student research, the Chemistry Club helps to connect chemistry majors with one another and with other science majors and faculty members in social and educational settings. Another goal is to bridge the gap between the scientific community and the public so that chemistry can be presented in a more positive light. We participate in presentations to local schools and perform demonstrations on campus.
