What GPA is needed for applying to the 3-2 Engineering program?

USC requires a minimum 3.0 GPA in all courses taken at Pepperdine University and within their math/science courses.

 What mathematics courses do I need to take before I transfer to USC?

Calculus I, II, and III are required for all 3-2 engineering majors. In addition all 3-2 engineering majors require Differential Equations with the exception of the Industrial Systems and Engineering ISE and Computer Engineering and Computer Science programs, these programs also require linear algebra.

 What computer courses are required for the Engineering Program at USC?

C++ (COSC 105) is required for Industrial Systems and Engineering (ISE) and Computer Engineering and Computer Science. MATLAB is required for all other engineering programs.

 Are there any non-required courses that I should take before I transfer to USC?

Students pursuing Aerospace, Mechanical and Astronautical degrees are encouraged to take courses covering Statics, Dynamics and Strength of Materials prior to enrolling to USC. Of these, Statics is the most important is giving the student flexibility and is needed in order for the student to finish in two years.
