About Fiji Mission Summer Program

The Program

Students will have the opportunity to live on the shoreline of this beautiful island while assisting and serving daily at the Mission at Natuvu Creek specializing in dental and vision and other local clinics. Students will also work in the local schools in an impoverished area of Fiji. An opportunity for all students to serve in this life-changing ministry.

Program Dates

May 10 - May 31, 2012

Location

The central location of the Natuvu Creek Mission is in Buca Bay, Vanua Levu, Fiji. On the weekends, students will have the opportunity to travel to surrounding sites and possibly other islands.

Housing and Meals

Students will stay in dorm rooms at the Natuvu Creek Mission. Most meals will be provided and prepared by on-site chefs. For more information on the location and objective of Natuvu Creek Mission, you may visit Mission's website at http://www.missionatnatuvucreek.com/

Proposed Field Trips

The program will include a 24-hour survival challenge, tribal feast, and trip to Taveuni.

Cost

The tuition cost is $1,266 per unit and each student must take a minimum of 3 units. The International Programs Charge of $4,506 covers orientations, airfare and transfers to and from airports, rooms, all meals, and other program extras.
